My name is Janis Lübke. I am 17 years old and live in Bern, Switzerland. Currently, I am working as an apprentice Mediamatician at Bict AG in Bern. My daily work involves learning about digital media, design, and technology. This training provides me with a strong technical background, but my true passion lies in photography. I have always been fascinated by capturing moments and telling stories through images.

My focus areas are sports, event, and landscape photography. I enjoy the fast pace of games where I need to react quickly to freeze the perfect moment. At the same time, I love the calm and patience required for landscape shots in the Swiss mountains. I also enjoy photographing events to capture the unique atmosphere and emotions of the people there. I shoot with a Sony Alpha 7 II, a reliable tool that helps me achieve high-quality results in any situation.

As an athlete myself, I have a special advantage in sports photography. I understand the movements, the rules, and the key moments of a game. This helps me anticipate the action and be in the right position at the right time. Whether it is a volleyball match, a basketball game, or a running event, I know what makes a captivating sports photo. My own experience allows me to connect with the athletes and truly capture their effort and joy.

I am always open to new challenges and love learning new things. Photography is a field where you can continuously improve and discover new techniques, and I am eager to try different styles and projects to grow as a photographer. Alongside my apprenticeship, I am actively building my portfolio and taking on freelance projects, always looking to gain more experience and work with diverse clients.
